I Like People Who Do Not Show Off And Who Surprise With Their Actions
I like people like that, humble of heart, with a mischievous smile and a kind heart who surprise me every day with their actions. They are people who speak and comply, who do not presume, who do not understand exalted egos or disguised falsehoods. I adore those magical people camouflaged as normals.
And who wouldn’t? However, we know well that such personalities are hardly counted on the fingers of one hand. We live in an individualistic society that is increasingly oriented towards the exterior, where certain exhibitionist behaviors and grandiloquent excesses are common where the dependence to be admired almost at every moment, exhausts and suffocates.
Living subject to these types of dynamics ends up destroying our mental health. It is necessary to turn around in our daily relationships. We must find them, find those people who do not focus their lives on the gallery, but on that discreet and privileged corner from where one understands, fits wisely and respects others.
People who show off and people who comfort you
A common trait of the chronic narcissist is his tendency to make promises and castles in the air that he later fails to keep. They are addicted to using the personal pronoun “I” at the top of each sentence, they make royal grains of sand cathedrals and they rise as arrogant architects of their all-powerful universes. They know everything, they have seen everything and they have experienced everything and if they have not, they invent it by means of a patina of adequate glamor.
Now, the most curious thing about this type of personality is that we identify them almost instantly. Lies have short legs and vanity very bulging eyes. However, sometimes, even seeing from afar its many shortcomings and the gaps inhabited by cobwebs of its heart, it is not so easy to defend ourselves. It is not easy to live with a chronic narcissist if that figure is the father, the mother or the partner.

It is only about appreciating that moment, that generous and selfless act that seeks nothing more than to give us happiness.

We know that there are many people who need a whole gallery to be someone, that false appearances grow like weeds. However, behind the need for attention, all that is found is loneliness and deep emotional immaturity. Let us therefore learn to be self-sufficient, not to need anyone to know what we are and what we are worth in order to give the best of ourselves to others in a selfless way.
